512 Shorewood Place | S Forest Beach

We have been vacationing regularly in Hilton Head since 1979, staying in many beautiful properties. 512 Shore Wood is absolutely perfect! The ocean front view is incredible! The property has been completely renovated and decorated making for a peaceful and comfortable vacation. The beach access has hard surface from the property to the dunes making access easy for young families with beach wagons and strollers, to older guest with walking issues. This property will be our new choice when returning!

I almost don’t want to write this review as I don’t want to share this amazing hidden gem within Hilton Head and lessen our chances of it being available the next time we visit! The bar has been set high that no other location would compare! What a fabulous location and ease of access! Close to shops, restaurants, the pool and steps from the ocean! With older kids, we were able to let them wander and do their thing while we did ours with everything being so close. The feature's of the property from the comfortable beds, the upgraded appliances and decor made it feel like home! Everything was so clean and well maintained! With how quiet the property was you’d never know it was a condo. And who could forget the views! Thank you Island Time for a spectacular first of many visits to Hilton Head! We are looking into locking in our time here next year!

This condo is gorgeous and clean! The furniture is new and comfortable. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. The location is ideal... you are close to everything! Walking to the beach and pool is easy and safe. The pool is right out of the elevators and the beach is less than 5 minute walk (just out beyond the pool area). We had a great time and highly recommend this condo! The only opportunity area is the check in process. You have to make an extra stop on the way in to pick up a parking pass. It would be much easier to have that pass emailed to guests instead. The extra stop after traveling isn’t ideal for families. The condo wasn’t cleaned and ready until 4:45pm when we arrived, check in is 4pm. This was likely a rare occurrence but definitely was frustrating to experience upon our arrival. Overall we had a wonderful time! This condo is clean, bright, & beautiful with AMAZING views, ideal location, and everything you need for a great beach trip.

This condo is simply the best in the complex. We have stayed in many units in Shorewood over the last 30 years. The view is phenomenal. The management company is very professional and attentive.

Very clean and nice modern decor. Recently renovated with very nice appliances and furniture. The balcony view was fantastic from the corner of the fifth floor and the patio furniture was amazingly comfortable. Amenities were also fantastic. My only concern was with the building’s elevator, but the stairs are right by the rental unit.

The condo was perfect for our needs. The location is ideal and the views from the top (5th) floor corner unit are full ocean views as well as the views of the beach and pool from most of the rooms. The common amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) are beautiful as well. I don't get the sense that all of the condos in this complex are as modern/updated as this one but I would certainly return again to this specific condo. The only thing that was lacking was access to a gym/workout facility but everything else was perfect.

This condo is absolutely stunning and probably one of the nicest on the island with it being a corner unit on the 5th floor. We are very busy with work and kids activities so when we travel I am very particular about where we stay. This unit did not disappoint! The view was exceptional and all the finishing touches and appliances are top of the line (Wolf stove, Miele fridge). The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. Even things like beach towels that we didn't expect were provided and was greatly appreciated since we flew in and thought would need to purchase. The property was fully gated and felt very safe. The pool and grounds were well maintained. We look forward to staying here again at some point!
