8110 Wendover Dunes is a stunning beach themed oceanside villa with an open plan for the kitchen a living room. The perfect place for a family getaway with three bedrooms and bathrooms, making plenty of space for a comfortable stay and a short walk to the beach.
The kitchen is large and beautiful with its custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Being fully-stocked, you'll have ample equipment and space to create the perfect family meal if you so choose. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, with seating for six. This is in addition to seating for four at the kitchen bar.
The living room is expansive and features beach contemporary furniture, a TV and access to the large screened-in porch, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The entire villa has been painted, furnished and updated with the beach in mind, very light and bright!
The Primary Bedroom is its own suite with king bed, HDTV, access to the screened in porch and of course its own en-suite bathroom. The Primary bathroom has a custom double vanity and large walk in custom-tiled shower. The Second Primary Bedroom also has a King bed, private porch access and a large, updated bathroom. This bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower and separate soaking tub. The third bedroom contains two XL Double beds and an ensuite bathroom. This bathroom has a quartz vanity and tiled tub and shower combination.
Outside you'll be able to enjoy your large wrap-around screened-in balcony with a large dining table and different seating options. The Wendover Dunes grounds contain a pool and spa, which are heated seasonally.
The beach will be a short walk from Wendover Dunes, as it sits on the beachside of the road!

The Town of Hilton Head Island's 2026 Beach Renourishment Project began on August 6, 2025 at Fish Haul Beach, located off Mitchelville Road on the Island's north end. This vital initiative, part of the Town's long-term beach management program, is undertaken every 8 to 10 years and aims to preserve, protect, and restore Hilton Head's valuable shoreline.
The 2026 renourishment will mirror past efforts (1990, 1997, 2006, 2016) and involves placing approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach-compatible sand across 46,500 feet of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline. Sand will be dredged from offshore shoals and pumped through extensive pipeline systems onto designated beach areas, then shaped by heavy machinery to meet specific design standards.
The $47.5 million project is divided into three phases, with work expected to last until May 2026:

During the renourishment, about 1,000-foot beach segments will be temporarily closed, with beachgoers directed around active work zones via ramps and signage. Construction is expected to proceed 24/7, moving at a pace of 200-300 feet per day, with minor disruptions lasting just a few days for any specific beachfront property

The project includes safeguards for endangered species. Activities are monitored by consultants to protect sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Per U.S. Army Corps and USFWS permit conditions, dog activity is restricted in a small area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek Beach Park. All other beaches remain under normal seasonal pet access rules.

This three bedroom villa has been completely renovated and is absolutely beautiful. The space is very open and spacious, including all the bathrooms and closets. There is plenty of room to relax, and the updates really make the space feel bright and inviting.
